The DJ that runs your party —
on autopilot.

Guests scan a QR code and request a song from their phone. AIDJ adds it to the queue, introduces it with a spoken DJ announcement in its own voice, and mixes smoothly into the next track. No app to install, no laptop everyone fights over all night.

What is AIDJ?

AIDJ does the DJ's job at your event: it collects requests from guests, builds a playlist out of them, talks between tracks and handles the transitions. Guests send requests from their phone through a web page they open by scanning a QR code — nothing to download, nothing to sign up for.

AIDJ is not a music service. Playback itself runs on the music platform you already subscribe to, in your own browser, under that platform's terms. AIDJ decides what plays next and adds a spoken DJ layer on top.

No installation

Guests scan a QR code and start typing straight away. No app, no account, no password.

Spoken DJ

Before each track, a short announcement plays: who requested it, who it's dedicated to, and why it's worth a listen.

Never silent

When nobody's sending requests, AIDJ fills the queue itself, based on the mood you set.

How it works

From setting up the event to the first song takes a few minutes.

  1. Set up the event

In Studio you enter the event name, language, DJ voice and the mood for the evening — say, “the best Czech pop of the 20th century.” You decide whether requests need approval and which genres are allowed.

  2. Print the QR code

AIDJ generates a QR code and a ready-made poster to print. Put it on the bar, on the tables, or project it on a screen.

  3. Start the player

On the computer connected to the sound system, open the player in your browser and log in to your music account. For other rooms, send the link /tv/<code> — the screen syncs itself.

  4. Guests request songs

Requests appear in the queue live. You can drag to reorder, skip ahead or go back. Between requests, AIDJ plays its own picks based on the mood.

Everything AIDJ can do

Features that have proven themselves at real events — from weddings to office parties.

Requests via QR code

A guest web page with search built in. Works on iPhone and Android, and can be added to the home screen.

Spoken AI DJ announcements

The script is written by AI and read by a synthetic voice. Choose the language, voice and speaking style.

Automatic queue filling (auto-DJ)

Describe the mood in your own words and AIDJ keeps the queue full. Change the mood mid-event and it takes effect immediately, with no gap in the music.

Request approval

Optionally, nothing plays until you approve it. Handy for weddings and corporate events where you don't want surprises.

Genre gate

Allow what's fine to play and block what isn't. Applies to both guest requests and the automatic picks.

Limits and spam protection

How many requests one guest can send, how long the queue can get, duplicate merging, and blocking a specific device.

Multi-room sound

One player is the main one, the others follow it. A track change shows up everywhere, and DJ announcements play in sync.

Artist trivia

The DJ can add a one-line fact about the artist behind the track. Switch it off with a single toggle.

Studio — the control panel

A live queue, drag-to-reorder, skip, replay, and settings you can change any time during the event.

Who AIDJ is for

Weddings

Guests dedicate songs to each other and AIDJ announces them by name. With approval switched on, you're sure nothing inappropriate slips through.

Office parties and Christmas dos

Nobody has to babysit a laptop all night. The genre gate keeps the music within limits that work for colleagues and management alike.

Bars, clubs and restaurants

Guests can shape the music without bothering the staff. On quieter nights it stands in for a live DJ.

Birthdays, reunions, school events

Parties where a professional DJ would be overkill, but a playlist from one phone isn't enough.

Music and licensing, explained

This is the question we get most, so let's be direct.

FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most often.

Do guests need to install anything?

No. Guests scan the QR code, a web page opens, and they can search for a song straight away. No account, no sign-up, no password needed. They can optionally add the page to their phone's home screen, but it's not required.

Do I need a paid music account?

Yes. AIDJ doesn't provide music — playback runs through a supported music platform where you hold your own valid subscription, in your browser, under that platform's terms. AIDJ decides what plays next and adds the spoken DJ announcements.

How does AIDJ know what to play when nobody's sending requests?

When you set up the event, you describe the mood in your own words — say, “the best Czech pop of the 20th century” or “80s dance hits.” The auto-DJ then tops up the queue by itself whenever it drops below the length you've set. You can change the mood mid-event too — it takes effect on the next tracks, with no silence in between.

Can I approve what gets played?

Yes. Moderation is a single toggle: requests then wait until you approve them. You can also restrict allowed and blocked genres, the number of requests per guest, and the maximum queue length.

What if someone sends nonsense or spams the queue?

Set a limit on requests per guest, and block a specific device if you need to, without affecting anyone else. Duplicate requests are automatically merged into a single spot in the queue.

Can AIDJ handle sound in more than one room?

Yes. One player is the main one and the others follow it — they play the same thing, including the spoken DJ announcements, in sync. For another room or a TV, just open the link in the form /tv/<code>; that player only listens and can't change the queue.

What languages does AIDJ speak?

Both the app and the spoken DJ announcements support Czech, English, German, Polish and Slovak. Language is set per event, just like the DJ's voice.

Can I change settings during the event?

Yes. Studio is a live control panel: you see the current queue, reorder it by dragging, skip or replay tracks, and change any setting — mood, moderation, genres, limits — at any point during the evening.

Who handles the public-performance rights?

The event organiser. Playing music at a public event is subject to public-performance rights — collected in the Czech Republic by OSA and Intergram, or by the local equivalent elsewhere. That applies no matter where the music comes from, AIDJ included. AIDJ doesn't provide or arrange these rights.

Does AIDJ replace a live DJ?

At events where a professional DJ would be overkill or isn't available, yes — AIDJ keeps the music running, responds to guests and talks between tracks. It doesn't replace a DJ who reads the room, mixes live and improvises with the atmosphere.

What happens if the internet goes down?

AIDJ is a web service and needs a connection for both playback and incoming requests. We recommend keeping the computer by the sound system on a reliable network, ideally wired, and making sure guests have Wi-Fi or a solid mobile signal available.

How much does AIDJ cost?

AIDJ is billed per event. Current pricing, and the option to set up an event, are available once you log in at aidj.cloud.
